This month was all about celebration, pleasure, and connection for me. I came to the end of some coaching series with incredible clients who knocked their goals out of the park, I celebrated my birthday with a weekend getaway at the Hyatt Regency of Thessaloniki in Greece, and thanks to my incredible friends and business besties I decided to pivot The Sisterhood Collective – my membership site – from an online women empowerment school into something much juicier, and bigger.
It seems like whatever I did this month, I kept on being reminded of how incredible it is that we have the power to make our dreams come true. As an action-taker by nature I’m aware that changing my life depends on me.
But sometimes I forget. I give my power away. Perhaps you do to? Since it happens so easily…
The truth is, when we give our power away I often think it’s because we hope someone else will fix things for us, do the hard work in our name. But unfortunately that’s simply not how life is. Nobody’s out there waiting to make our dreams come true. This is it, really. There’s just us.
The beauty is that we get to choose our dreams again and again, every single day. And one of the ways that we do that, is by allowing things that make us feel good into our lives.
So here’s a list of five things that made me happy in May:
#1 Cerries Mooney’s free “strength finder” test
I don’t like to call it a “strength finder” test that because it doesn’t give it credit. It’s so much more than that. I was introduced to Cerries Mooney and her test by my spiritual coach a while ago. When I took the test to gain clarity on the next steps I should take in my business, I was absolutely flabbergasted by the results. By answering a few questions I got a Primary Archetype Guide that gave me incredible insights into who I am as a person, and as a brand. Since I took the test I’ve invited a number of my clients to take the test too. And all of them came back to me saying how powerful, and fun it was to do. So I invite you to check it out and give it a try. You can do so by clicking here.
#2 Awakened Woman Convergence
Last year women gathered together in Bali in November to celebrate sisterhood. I wasn’t present but knew that a few of my favorite people were. I decided back then that I would be part of the experience this year, so when the opportunity to buy an early bird tickets came along I grabbed it with both hands. Little did I know that doing so would be the gateway to a world of amazing women, sisterhood, connection, and co-creation. For six months later I’m now actively participating in creating this event, and gathering in sisterhood with the most amazing women on the planet. If you feel called to connect deeply with like-minded men and women I invite you to check out the conference website by clicking here.
#3 White Hot Truth by Danielle LaPorte
Danielle LaPorte’s White Hot Truth book launch has not gone by unnoticed. I think it was one of the best prepared, and delivered launches that I’ve seen in a long time. But that’s really not the point, the book is! White Hot Truth is a relief. A book that speaks about things that often feel taboo in the world of self-help and personal development. If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t know why you meditated anymore, or why you were waking up at six to attend yoga, then this book is definitely for you. I especially love this video entitled “Rock Your Paradox”. That’s me right there.
#4 Brand clarity session with Christine Rose Elle
Christine Rose Elle and I both studied and graduated as Certified Life Coaching from the Beautiful You Coaching Academy. For the past five months I’ve been working on a massive brand upgrade, and in May I found myself in the final stages of that but still feeling a little off with some aspects of my brand. When I reached out to Christine she offered to get on a call and help me work through the issues that I wasn’t clear about. And what a session it was. This woman is simply amazing. With a few tips, and pertinent questions she helped me to get absolutely clear on how I want my brand to look and feel like. Christine offers complimentary sessions that are pure magic. I invite you to check out her website and book yours by clicking here.
#5 The support of my friend and business bestie Jarka
Jarka is my true sister in spirit, I have no doubt about it. She is a gentle, and wise soul that gives out nothing but friendship, compassion, and love. In the process I’m currently in with pivoting The Sisterhood Collective she has been absolutely instrumental. But even more than that, I love Jarka’s blog and her thoughts more than anything. At the end of May she wrote a very personal and heartfelt blog post that touched me to my core. We’re also both passionate Transcendental Meditation practitioners. I couldn’t end this list of things that made me happy in May without mentioning the thing that brought me the most joy throughout the month. Thank you Jarka for your incredible wisdom, and friendship. You can check out Jarka’s amazing blog and website by clicking here.
